Hi, I recently was introduced to NewsMixer by Rich Gordon.

Would love to use the platform for grassroots journalism projects in my area. http://www.sa4mayor.com/about is one of my latest ones. While I’m pretty hands-on with WordPress, htmls, css… would it be challenging for a non-coder? What would the WordPress plugin do vs. the the whole thing? Are you still developing it? Can you be contacted directly?

Wonderful news! I’m stoked to see what comes of this. Two questions: do you have a timeline for this second release, and will this application be written in PHP? I know that one of the advantages of WordPress is that the plugin architecture is really easy to add to; having to install a secondary application might be a limitation for some.
